Tammy Torregano
Director of Finance & Accounting
After receiving her MBA from the University of New Orleans, Tammy’s career in accounting has heavily focused on the healthcare field. She came to Sterling from Cypress Pointe Surgical Hospital in Hammond where she was a Senior Accountant for three years and learned the ins and outs of the unique and often circuitous system that is healthcare accounting. Her promotion to Director of Finance and Accounting comes after four years as Sterling’s Controller.
In this role, Tammy and her team not only manage the day to day operations of the hospital’s finances but also works intimately with the Administrator and Board to forecast and develop new strategies on ensuring not only financial viability but further how Sterling Surgical can lead the charge in changing the landscape that is healthcare financial success.
Tammy has lived her whole life in Slidell where she enjoys spending time with her friends and family and raising her two sons, Cedrick and Calvin.
