When Leslie Williams puts her work ethic behind her strong project management skills, there’s no challenge too big to solve. She’s coupled her surgical technologist credentials with her degree in business management to create a unique set of skills essential for coordinating schedules, vendors, and implants as well as streamlining policy, procedures, and efficiency in a busy operating room.
Williams came to Sterling from St. Tammany Parish Hospital where she was in charge of OR Inventory Control; and after starting her career at Charity Hospital, spent five years at Slidell Memorial Hospital where she worked as preceptor and materials manager. She cites Sterling as the perfect environment to excel thanks to her results-driven, positive attitude.
She’s been married nearly three decades and has four children and four wonderful and well-loved grandchildren. Her family is a festival family and she comes from a long line of musicians known for their contributions to the Cajun and Zydeco music scenes. Family—and fun—mean everything to her.
